Friday, June 22nd - Sunday, June 24th my friend Pete and I got a ton of modifications done to the Hurricane.

I wanted to get the XM Radio & GPS Antennas off the roof and onto the roof rack so that they have a clearer view of the sky so I took some 16 gauge steel and cut it into a mounting plate.

Next, onto all the lights on the roof.

PIAA Red Rear Fog Light installed.

Took the Instrument Pod off to get new Programmable Switch Panel Installed

Modified the left vent panel into a switch panel

Installed 12 fuse block under hood

Installed 6 fuse block in cargo area

Installed Scangauge II above steering wheel

Galaxy CB Radio installed on roof overhead

Wilson 2′ CB Antenna installed on roof rack on Fourtreks Mount

Whelen Amber LED Beacon installed on roof rack on Fourtreks Mount

Backup Lights Installed

Completed!

All stock lights with exception to the license plate and mirror marker lights (waiting on shipment) have been replaced with PIAA HID Lights. The new lights are great improvement, especially the headlights (blinding), domes (wow I can finally see inside the truck), and turn signals (have gone from amber to yellow). Great investment.

Finally received the battery clamp from Ellis Precision. Joel did a great job on the clamp, can’t wait to see the emblems when he is finished with them.

Installed Lund Window Vents today. They look great with the tinted windows.

Auto Truck Outfitters installed 35% tint on my side windows today.

I moved the old Sho-Me Mini LED lightbar to the rear of the truck and installed a new Sho-Me Luminator LED lightbar in the front on Fourtreks mounts. The Luminator is a much better bar with the hyperbrights.

Removed front suspension and attempted to assemble new springs, but due to the heavy springs I had ordered, our compressors weren’t working on them. Ended up breaking four spring compressors trying them. Had to get them professionally assembled on Monday for us to install.

Removed rear suspension and installed the new OME (Old Man Emu) suspension. No problems with the rear install.

Amy was nice enough to lend me her Nissan “Jacked” Titan to drive to work on Monday since my truck was still apart.

Had a shop assemble the shocks and springs for the front suspension and successfully installed them in on Monday night.

Measured front and rear after one week and the front has a 4 inch lift and rear has a 3 ¼ inch lift.

I finally installed the Bandi Mount tonight along with the Firestik 4′ Scanner Antenna. Still have to run the cable permanently.

The reflective FJhurricane door graphics were cut and added today and I finally received the Old Man Emu (OME) 3″ Suspension Lift Kit. The lift will be installed on the next warm weekend!
