FJ Hurricane

FJoel sent over some preview photos of my new emblems being made. They look great!

ChicksDigEmToo had a raffle to paint someone’s engine cover for free and the Hurricane was lucky enough to have the “Karma” bestowed upon it. I dropped off the engine cover today to her. Breaking away from the Hurricane theme for the cover though and going with a fire dept related scene. Stay tuned for her masterpiece!

I finally installed the Bandi Mount tonight along with the Firestik 4′ Scanner Antenna. Still have to run the cable permanently.

Took the FJ up to NYC on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Driving in NYC traffic is definitely more dangerous than taking the truck off road. Air horn mod is a must!

The reflective FJhurricane door graphics were cut and added today and I finally received the Old Man Emu (OME) 3″ Suspension Lift Kit. The lift will be installed on the next warm weekend!

I received my Gobi Stealth Rack & Ladder over a month ago and I finally had a great weather day to get it installed. 55 degrees and sunny! Rack, Ladder, Lightbar, and personalized plate were installed this afternoon. Lightbar is on a Fourtreks Rack Mount.

After I received the drawings last night for my CNC’d creations I decided to remove the Toyota emblems as well and replace them with the FJ Hurricane logo so the truck is completely rebranded. FJoel - Ellis Precision was excited to try out his CNC machine on some new items, so here’s the latest drawing.

PENNDOT finally delivered my personalized plate today for the FJ!

FJoel - Ellis Precision provided drawings today of my CNC machined Optima battery clamp and FJ Hurricane emblems that will replace the FJ Cruiser emblems on the rear door.

Our FJ Bruisers Off Road Club (web site still in the works) announced our new logo tonight.
